BILLABONG FLAUNT IT BACK FOR 6th SEASON

Billabong Flaunt It, presented by Sony Ericsson is returning for its 6th year as the most prominent all girls snowboard series in North America.  Flaunt It kicks off the tour on January 21st at Blue Mountain for the first of 7 stops with over $30,000 in series cash and prizes.  As part of the TTR World Snowboard tour, Flaunt It’s first 6 stops are TTR 3 star events with the Slopestyle winners receiving airfare and accommodation to the series finals. New to this year are qualifying stops at Lake Louise, AB and Mont St. Sauveur, QC.  The Flaunt It Finals (with Jamie Anderson) are back to Sierra-at-Tahoe March 31st, which will be a TTR 4 star event featuring a $10,000 cash purse, plus lots of additional prizing from tour sponsors.

The Flaunt It series is open to ALL female riders from around the globe as the first 6 stops have friendly courses that cater to all levels.  The contest format is designed to be stress free as the “jam format” allows each girl to ride all day long and continually progress and throw down tricks.  The top Slopestyle and Rail Jam winners will be rewarded for their talent, with additional prizing including the ‘Dakine Best Trick’ and ‘Nixon Style Award’.  Gift bags and lunch are provided to all competitors.  

The series final is open to ALL female riders.  Athletes do not need to be pre-qualified to compete at the finals, but early registration is advised.  The Finals will have Billabong’s International Team rider and snowboard superstar Jamie Anderson in attendance as a guest MC. Jamie Anderson says, “I am so excited to host and be a part of the Flaunt it finals at my home resort, Sierra-At-Tahoe.  It's going to be a great event, so make sure to come check it out!”
